UNDER THE LAW NO. 6698 ON THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

In this Clarification Text, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and the relevant legislation, the DATA RESPONSIBLE, Varyap Meridian Grand Tower Barbaros Mah. Al Zambak Sok. A Blok: 8 Kat: 92 Ataşehir 34762 Istanbul / Turkey, MEALIS ORTADOĞU YAŞAM BİLİMLERİ A.Ş.

1. DEFINITIONS

• Personal Data: Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
• Sensitive Personal Data: Race, ethnic origin, political opinion, religion, health, biometric data, etc.

2. METHODS OF COLLECTING PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data may be collected by the Company from all kinds of written, verbal, electronic media by automatic or non-automatic methods. It is collected based on the legal reasons specified in Article 5/2 of the KVKK (stipulated in the laws, performance of the contract, legal obligation, legitimate interest of the data controller, etc.).

3. PURPOSE OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

Personal data collected by our Company may be processed for the purposes of conducting commercial activities, fulfilling legal obligations, matters related to public security, conducting communication activities and improving service quality. In case of your explicit consent, it may be shared with business partners and suppliers.

4. TRANSFER OF PROCESSED PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data may be shared with domestic official institutions and organizations, service providers, business partners, suppliers and group companies in accordance with the provisions of KVKK.

5. RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT (ARTICLE 11 OF KVKK)

By applying to MEALIS, you can exercise the following rights:

• Learn whether personal data is being processed,
• Request information if processed,
• Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used for its intended purpose,
• Knowing the third parties to whom it is transferred domestically or abroad,
• Request correction in case of incomplete or incorrect processing,
• To request deletion or destruction within the framework of Article 7 of the KVKK,
• Request compensation for damages due to unlawful processing.
